Why Kruti Dev text looks like this
Kruti Dev is a Hindi font from the typewriter era. It doesn’t store Hindi letters: it draws Hindi shapes on the keys of the Latin alphabet. You type Hkkjr, and the font shows भारत. As long as the font is installed, nobody notices. Open the file on a phone, paste it into an e-mail or a website, and the Latin letters appear.
Kruti Dev 010 is still common in government offices, courts and typing pools in the Hindi-speaking states, and many older Word documents and PDFs use it. Unicode Hindi (fonts like Mangal or Nirmala UI) stores real Devanagari letters instead – the text is readable everywhere, searchable on Google and can be copied without losing anything.

- Copy the Unicode text, or download it as a file. In Word, paste it and choose a Unicode font such as Nirmala UI or Mangal.
You can also drop a TXT or CSV file that contains Kruti Dev text – for example a list exported from an old office program. Word files (.docx) can’t be opened directly: copy the text instead.
What the converter takes care of

िsign is typed before its letter (f+g=हि) and the rephर्after the syllable (dk;Z=कार्य). Mojibuster puts both in Unicode order. - Half letters and conjuncts:
Lobecomesस्व,{kkbecomesक्षा,=त्र,Kज्ञ,Jश्र,Øक्र. - Vowel signs and nasals:
¡becomes the chandrabinduँ,athe anusvaraं,Wthe candraॅin words likeऑफिस. - Punctuation:

Names, e-mail addresses and links typed in a normal font in between stay as they are. Text that is already Unicode Hindi is left alone.
When the text shows ठinstead

Frequently asked questions
Which Kruti Dev fonts are supported?
Kruti Dev 010, the most common version. Most other Kruti Dev fonts use the same keyboard layout and convert the same way. Chanakya, DevLys and other legacy fonts have different layouts and aren’t supported yet.
Why does my text still show Latin letters?
Mojibuster converts only when the result is clearly Hindi, so that English text is never changed by mistake. Very short snippets or text in another font can stay unchanged. Try pasting a full sentence or paragraph.
Can I convert Unicode back to Kruti Dev?
Not on this page. Unicode is the better choice for anything you share or publish – it works without a special font.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, also on a phone. Your text never leaves your device.
